Black & Blues
The Bio

Originating from the Western Suburbs of Sydney and raised on the blue collar ethic of hard playing to the sweaty beerhall punters in the grand old tradition of Aussie pub bands, Black & Blues have forged a blues sound part Chicago, part Texas, part swing, but all about Australia.

The five piece has always included keyboards, guitar and harmonica, but had undergone some lineup changes before settling down to record.
To date, a live cd, “Live at the Cat & Fiddle”, was released and followed up by their powerful, original “Stung” cd. Further recordings are in the works and will be eagerly awaited by their growing number of fans.

Black & Blues have played extensively throughout Sydney and NSW broadening their fanbase with each outing. Their live reputation saw them selected as the “house band” for the Sydney Motorcycle Show playing two shows a day over the course of the event. They are the “event band” for G.A.S.S. youth surf program. Some other live highlights have been:
The Sydney Entertainment Centre for the Altern8 Extreme Sports Festival;
The Medowie Bike Festival;
The Myall River Arts Festival.

Black & Blues work hard to maintain a busy schedule of dates through the pubs and clubs. They believe that a band needs to be working to maintain its energy, focus and coherence.

Black & Blues are:
Warren Ambrose, bass;
Scott Campbell, guitar;
Simon Gooden, keyboards/vocals;
Paul Sinclair, drums;
Dennis Viller, vocals/harmonica.
